Hello and welcome! Please understand that this website is not affiliated with Guerlain in any way, it is only a reference site for collectors and those who have enjoyed the classic fragrances of days gone by. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. The main objective of this website is to chronicle the 200+ year old history of the Guerlain fragrances and showcase the bottles and advertising used throughout the years. Let this site be your source for information on antique and vintage Guerlain perfumes. Another goal of this website is to show the present owners of the Guerlain company how much we miss many of the discontinued classics and hopefully, if they see that there is enough interest and demand, they will bring back these fragrances! I invite you to leave a comment below (for example: of why you liked the fragrance, describe the scent, time period or age you wore it, who gave it to you or on what occasion, what it smelled like to you, how it made you feel, any specific memories, what it reminded you of, maybe a relative wore it, or you remembered seeing the bottle on their vanity table), who knows, perhaps someone from the current Guerlain brand might see it. If you have any questions, please send all images of your bottle and pertinent information directly to me at cleopatrasboudoir@gmail.com. I will try to assist you the best I can.

Mon Exclusif c2015

Mon Exclusif by Guerlain: launched in 2015. Created by Thierry Wasser.

To make a customized fragrance more accessible to those without unlimited purse strings, Guerlain has introduced Mon Exclusif, a fragrance that you can rename yourself.

From Guerlain:
Because you maintain a close relationship with your perfume, Guerlain invites you first choose the name of the person who will share your life ...
For you to name your new feminine fragrance thanks to exclusive metallic letters proposed in the casket or by doing burn (by clicking on "Customize"). Engraving is offered with the privilege to inform GEORGES code when finalizing your order. This surprising Eau de Parfum ruffles styles: caressing oriental notes of sandalwood and toffee contrast with fresh fern agreement embodied in a lavender d exception. The bottle reinterprets the lines of the legendary perfume Coque d'Or. Created in 1937, it is then inspired bow tie worn by men during major events. Today is a twisted knot and worn with audacity by a woman!

Fragrance Composition:

From Guerlain:
"Thierry Wasser ruffles the style with exceptional raw materials: - Lavender Carla, fresh and slightly fruity, harvested by Baume des Anges, a French company of the Drôme. - the Santalum Album, a rare Southeast Asian sandalwood, is soft, whose tenacity is remarkable. - The Toffee  Accord, an unprecedented alliance of salted butter caramel, coumarin and vanilla that surprises the taste buds.
 Oriental Fougere.
Bold. Sensual. Irresistible. Top Notes: Mandarin, Bergamot, Candied Almonds. heart notes: Lavender, solar notes. Base notes: Iris, White Musk, Sandalwood, Toffee Accord"

So what does it smell like? It is classified as a woody oriental fragrance for women. The fragrance is tinted a soft pink color.

  • Top notes: mandarin, bergamot, candied almonds
  • Middle notes: solar accord, lavender, floral notes
  • Base notes: white musk, iris, sandalwood, vanilla, tonka bean, fern, and toffee accord (butter, toffee, salt)

Bottle:

The fragrance is housed in a modified bow tie (Noed Papillon) bottle once used for the perfumes Coque d'Or, Dawamesk, and Kriss in the 1930s-1940s. Inside the presentation box is a set of adhesive metal letters which you can place on your bottle after baptizing it a new name of your own choosing. Or, if you are at the Guerlain bouquet, you can have the name engraved onto the bottle.

Mon Exclusif is available in the following:

To offer even more customization to the Mon Exclusif bottle, Guerlain has partnered with Maison Desrues, who have developed an exclusive technique in applying colored enamel to your bottle, but only for a limited time.

From Guerlain:
"You now have the possibility to choose the decor of your bottle. Discover the skills of artisans Desrues at 68 Champs Elysées and dress your bottle new colors to suit your needs and tastes. 5 vibrant colors. A multitude of combinations. Your custom bottle. The ultimate luxury. More than ever, this fragrance becomes your exclusive ... Exclusively at Guerlain: Friday 11, 18 and 25 September".
